my F2T swap :D (56k warning)

yah thanks fred, i think i know what i'm looking for but just wasn't 100%

the 3x3 is cut about 1 foot long with the bottom cut out of it and its going to sit on top of this


then the throttle body will sit on the front of it, basically like this in short

any who heres some pics of trying to mount a custom intercooler i picked up for cheap, i just gotta move its outputs to fit properly














oh and while i was taking everything off i figured i'd try mocking up my new front bumper (and you can see the piece of tubing i'm gonna be using for my new intake plenum in the lower right hand side)

well more pics!

i got started on my intake plenum, got the intercooler almost done and mounted, some material for my grill work, my new seats....etc

the new grill material. i'm gonna cut out the back of the grill and put some of this across like an insert so i can have more space behind for the intercooler




like this but the grill will only be 3 chrome strips with no black plastic


newly positioned intercooler pipes (i finally figured out the welding machine by the end)




now the pipes clear perfectly

ok so i almost have my plenum done, and i've started on my coolant pipe









**** that looks nice on there! and it was so easy to make too!






the pipe i grabbed from work was 1 5/8 which turned out to be too big so ill grab the 1 3/8 tomorrow and make the same thing out of that.

lol, should have added some riser tubes and just stuck the plenum out the top of the hood

Then dress it up with one of those big funny car hood scoops!!! hahaha.

so guys i got the ignitors mounted and found an oil leak in my tranny, fixed it and etc......

all bolts replaced with studs, no more strippage!!!!

ok now plenum is almost done, just gotta mount the throttle cable mount to it.


the new throttle body, (only a stock 55mm for now, but easy enough to swap up to a 65 later)

hood latch after some modification(shortened it so the intercooler can sit up as high as possible)
