Just bought the truck yesterday hopefully gonna get it in the garage today and out of the snow. So far this is what ive found out about the truck its a 1986 b2000 lx with a b2200 motor 5200 carb and it has been lowered but not alot. Also it has a slant shifter in it dont know if its suppose to be like that or if this is a mod someone has made.

And in case you are wondering what all the stuff is in the back its a crap load of parts the guy through in to sweeten the 500$ deal i got on this truck.

Our trucks would look sweet side by side, mine will be black & orange, yours black & green. If we ever meet up at a show we need to get a picture of the trucks together.

Are you going to leave your dash the dark gray, or dye it black.

I haven't decided on what to do with mine yet.

P.S. the race to paint was a little joke, I am sure I wont be painting mine very soon. I would like to get it done before July this year, but a big part of my tax return is going to wards a vacation for my 7 member family. Plus I want to build a shop by the house, So all that comes first before painting it.

Im sure we will meet up some where brian. Im gonna start attending more shows. Its gonna be dyed black and swapping the gauges for se5 guages. Black carpet. JDM rx7 seats dyed black and green. Custom door panels. Custom headliner, a must since the roof line is getting chopped 5 inches. Brian you have your work cut out for you paying for a vacation for 7. Im lucky i get to use my fathers extremely huge garage its 4 bay.

Actually im still thinkin on the roof line might not chop it. I dont have as much head clearance on this truck. Idk I have this really sweet vision in my head of a the roof line chopped 5 inches. with my chevy z71 wheels lowered alittle more than it is now and a sweet custom widebody kit. I dont though. Im also thinkin about a completly custom dash. instead of just dying mine. Also this truck is getting a turbo setup, and ive been toying with the idea of a VAFC 2.

Actually not sure about the turbo setup. Im not completely sure if im sticking with the f2, might go with a high comp f2 or and f2t. also thinking bout a high comp fe3 with dual weber sidedrafts, or turbo fe3, prolly not rotary or v8.

Yeah that vacation for 7 so far is gonna cost me almost 5 grand, and that doesn't include the excursions on the 3 stops during the cruise, or the transportation to Galveston TX.

Are you leaving from galveston going to cozumel and all those places. Jw cause I went on that cruise last year its awesome. I love texas, I dont know how many of you are single on here but in my opinion I think texas has the hottest women. But yeah im not sure what direction im gonna go with the truck yet leaning towards the f2 with a blow through carb setup.

Im glad someone agrees with me. Going to mexico and being single is so much better, and yes tequila is extremely potent but so good but back to the truck what opinion does everyone have on the motor issue.

I'll stick with bud light, last time I drank tequila I was 22 yrs old, I then tried to take on a whole bar room full of cowboys that weren't near as drunk as I was.....it wasn't a pretty sight....lol

I guess tequila makes my balls grow.............lol

About the women:

I have two boys that are single but they are 14 & 15 yrs old, old enough to be severely interested but not old enough to do anything about it, (well thats my opinion.........lol)

My Daughter is 17 and her boy friend is 18 he is going with us (staying in a room with my sons) He (the 18 yr old) will probably get his self in trouble with my daughter because he cant keep his mouth shut about the other women............some day he will learn.

As for the truck, I don't know anything about turbo except for that its fast, I hear they require a lot of maintenance, I don't know how true that is. My wife had a Le baron GTC convertible, we owned it for about 2 years before someone hit us and totaled it.

All I had to do was keep the oil and air filter changed, so I don't know what others mean by saying they can be high maintenance.
