so i just need to find my welding helmet and ill be done with the exhaust
even with it just tacked together its actually pretty quiet in the truck when its running, no drone sound or anything, and its just strait piped. i'm sure it'll be done tomorrow
my creative setup, doesn't even hang below the frame
all tacked together, hangers and all
and the video of it running with the stack for all of you to drool over, i know my mouth is already dry lol.

You put your tweeters in the same place I put mine in my old 87 B2000 ext cab.
If you haven't had tweeters there before I think you will like them located there if you like a high sound stage.
I have to have mine there because I have damaged my hearing over the last 20 years from High decibel sound systems. (well 5 kids screaming on occasion doesn't help much either)

They are Audiobahn. Their subs look like that in the back also.

What are the crossovers for? I might be interested in doing that with my eclipse 6x9 speakers in the civic.

Not sure if this was the answer your looking for, but the crossovers only let certain frequencies through to the speakers. Those speakers for instance would most likely be crossed over to play band pass. If set up in band pass mode they will play from one set frequency to another instead of just play high pass or low pass.
example, bandpass = 70hz high pass to 350hz low pass, this lets the speakers play only the frequencies between 70-350hz the frequency for bandpass is determined by the frequency range the speaker can play and also the desired sound the listener wants to achieve.
Edit:
For your civic if you have a sub in the rear and 6x9 in the rear deck you will want to set the sub for low pass and the 6x9 for high pass. just make sure the frequency you choose for high pass to the 6x9 is not such a low frequency that it will damage your 6x9's. Check with the manufacturer of the 6x9 to see what the recomended crossover frequency is., I would guess most 6x9 can play 80hz and up.
AKA 80hz high pass for the 6x9

For those that do not have cross overs either like the ones in dealwithit's truck or in an amp, you can use these.
FMods
Here is the page to purchase them. http://store.hlabs.com/pk4/store.pl?section=9

I looked up the Audiobahn speakers on the net, the prices for them are quite cheap, how is the quality compared to Rockford Fosgate, MTX, MA Audio, JL Audio?
