Okay, so I got my check and I've just been sitting on it.
Already fixed the front end and put my protege mirrors on.

On Valentines Day, I drove to Barstow(about half way to Los Angeles) to see my wife, who took the kids to go camping with their grandparents.
All went well on the drive down, but not so lucky coming home.
About half way home, I lost my transmission... all but first and reverse.
Got it towed home and decided to buy another transmission.
Here's what I got: Bowtie Overdrives Level 2 Performance

I'll take plenty of pics when I do the swap.

I didn't want to buy another one, but shops around town wanted between $900 and $1200 for a stock rebuild.
Plus extra labor if they had to pull it out!

Also, I bought new tires too.
I got four 60,000 mile tires delivered to my front door for $320(looks like they went up a couple bucks)
I love that site... No Sales Tax and Free Shipping!
