With the massive Toyota recall, that'll be an easy decision.

That's what you get when you have computers controll everything. All equates to making a smarter car instead of making a smarter driver

I owned a 92 B2200 FI and I loved it. I traded it for some needed parts for my dads truck. I just bought 2 more Mazda's to make up for lost time.
I had a 1990 Ranger 4x4 2.9L. and it was a constant pain in the @$$. No matter what I did, could never get the thing to rum just right. So I sold it.
Now my daily driver is a '06 Ranger Sport 4X2 3.0L 5spd. I love this truck! (not as much as my mazda though).
Of all these trucks, the Mazda was the best to work on, followed by my '06.

No way in hell would I ever own a New Toyota Pickup, they're the biggest POS on the road.
My pop is buying a 2010 Ford Ranger in a couple of months, and the Mike Rowe test was impressive..

IF I can sell my Van, I'm going to buy either a late 90's Ranger or a Mid to late 90's MPV.. Haven't decided on which yet..

That was an eye-opening video Pant! That Toyota looked like it was going to break in half! I did notice that the Chevy was not a HD model! I don't think the HD would move around like the regular Silverado did. Ford does make a good truck, no doubt, but I do like my Chevy's too!

Ford probably does make a good truck, but that van the (wind-fart) woops did I say that, I meant windstar.
Those things are a POS. I owned a 96 and a 99 both of them had electrical, and head gasket problems. and the 99 my 3 yr old daugter was able to get it out of gear (it was an auto just incase there are any std like the caravans) the keys were not in it, and theres no way possible a 3 yr old can reach the gear shifter and the brake pedal at the same time so that it could be taken out of gear.
I was behind it when she took it out of gear and It ran me over and dragged me 50 feet down the road. I d@mn near died. I was in the hospital for 41 days (31 in the ICU) My bill was $211,000.00
If that dont put a bad taste in your mouth about a Ford, I dont know what will.

Those van's aint the same as the trucks. It is like saying All Mazda's are the same vehicle.
I have owned some really good Ford's I have owned some really bad Ford's. I owned a Passing Wind too, and they're a piece of junk. I owned a 94 F150 with the 4.9L inline 6, that motor was bullet proof, a ton of bottom end grunt. The transmission was a POS. My uncle owns a 2009 F150 King Ranch, that thing is what drooling was created for. My Boss owns a F350 Super Duty Diesel, I've gotten to drive it a couple of times, that is one bad a$$ truck.

**** I can understand that feeling.
That said, I've had a number of Fords and they've all been pretty good vehicles and cheap to own. I own one now, a Focus, that my wife drives.
As for trucks, I'm partial to Nissans - I've had several and they were all great trucks. I had a 96 Hardbody that was bulletproof, and a 98 Frontier that was pretty much the same way.
