No one on here has ever posted having an interferance issue with timing before, even with the .070" less clearance I had from a performance cam, the head and deck being shaved I never had a problem bending the valves and I probably set the timing on that thing a dozen times, even bumped the starter a few times because I was too lazy to turn the engine around, lol. I never checked how much clearance I had left like a should have but with the engine cold it still had room to spare because once the engine warms up actual valve clearance with the piston is less because of thermal expansion, crank flex, wrist pin flex, etc...

Again that is assuming a stock U.S. engine, if someone installed the pistons backwards or it was JDM block, or something aftermarket almost anything can happen in which case valve to piston clearance should always be checked.

the carb jet in the fuel bowl was the sh!t james did you tighten all the jets... yeah man they are all tight. are you sure? yeah. ok. 7 hours later i ****in hate this mother****in truck i put so much in to it and it sh!ts on me if i get this thing running im goung to ****in sell it. 2 hours later (sitting on the side of the road) are you sure you tightened all the jets? im pretty sure. do we have any tools? no i left them at home. 30 min. later. CHRIS!!!! A 10MM WRENCH. yes me taking the top of the carb off then me laughing my *** of. you going what. me laughing look in the fuel bowl haha. i could have swore i tightened them you said. spending the next 2 days laughing and telling everyone the story. good times hey james lets test it in my blown up motor and see if it was just your jdm motor !!!!!LETS BEND SOME VALVES!!!!! WHAOOO

nooooo cause i want your old motor i wanna rebuild it and do some porting and stuff but eff it lets bend em hahahahaha
