Above is a larger image of the oil pump used in the B2200 (same as the 626, MX6, and Ford Probe using the F2 block). Here you can see that the front main oil seal fits into the front of the pump making it somewhat possable to replace without removing the pump. If someone where to remove the pump to replace the front main seal it would require removing the oil pan and oil sump making it a very length task. With the pump in place all that needs to be removed is the belts, harmonic ballancer, lower timing cover, and lower timing gear. The hardest part would be removing the old seal. Once it is out the new seal can be carefully driven in a piece of pipe would be the most likely tool for reinstalling it. Also shown above marked with red is the top dead center indicator mark. There is a notch in the lower timing pulley, when this notch lines up with the mark on the oil pump the engine should be close to TDC. If not there is there is a large problem.
