Water Pump

This is the water pump used in the B1800 from 1978-1984 it is also used in the Mazda B2000 of the same years. This should be the same pump that is in the 1972-1982 Ford Courier Pickup with the 1.8l engine. I have seen several of these mounted on the old 2.0 liter engines and they appear to only need a few parts removed to be able to replace the pump.

Torque Specs:

Right now the only torque specs I have for the water pump are as follows:

6 mm bolts torque at 5 to 7 ft/lbs
8 mm bolts torque at 12 to 17 ft/lbs

Note: Sizes refer to shank and not head size.
